Welcome to the Omega Delta Omega Chapter website of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.®!

A trailblazer, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® was founded in 1908 on the campus of Howard University establishing the foundation of sororities for African American women for over 115 years.  Since our chartering on December 12, 2015, the goal of Omega Delta Omega Chapter has been to provide service to all mankind, specifically in the Southern California Inland Empire and the low desert, Palm Springs areas.

Under the new leadership of International President and CEO, Danette Anthony Reed, all members of our illustrious sorority are “Soaring to Greater Heights of Service & Sisterhood.”  New initiatives are in place to ensure that the quality of service and the bonds of sisterhood in all chapters are increased exponentially.  These initiatives are:

  • Strengthen Our Sisterhood

  • Empower Our Families

  • Build Our Economic Wealth

  • Enhance Our Environment

  • Advocate for Social Justice

  • Uplift Our Local Community

Our chapter is committed to modeling the vision as prescribed by the established initiatives to promote  community engagement while implementing quality programs and service with a smile in the communities in which we serve.  The signature event of Omega Delta Omega is the Celebration of Life Breakfast in October where we honor and celebrate the lives of cancer survivors in our community. Annually, we provide need-based scholarships to deserving students in the community to assist with their higher education goals.  The chapter supports the James O. Jessie Desert Highland Unity Center in Palm Springs to address the needs of this underserved community.  Finally, we are a proud Platinum supporter of the Educational Advancement Foundation (EAF) of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. ®, which provides scholarships and supports endowments at HBCU’s.

Omega Delta Omega’s sisterhood provides service with a smile and continually strives to leave a positive imprint on the hearts of the Inland Empire and Palm Springs communities.

Sincerely and In Service,

Tamela R. Cash-Curry, President
