Welcome to Omega Delta Omega!

We are a graduate chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., which was founded in 1908 on the campus of Howard University. Our Chapter was chartered on December 12, 2015.

The goal of our Chapter is to provide service to all mankind, specifically in the Southern California Inland Empire and the low desert, Palm Springs areas.

Alpha Kappa Alpha’s International President, Dr. Glenda Glover, has established a platform of “Exemplifying Excellence Through Sustainable Service.”  The following are the program initiatives put in place to bring her great vision to reality:

Target 1: Historically Black Colleges and Universities

Signature Program-College Admissions Process #CAP

Target 2: Women’s Health and Wellness

Target 3: Building Your Economic Legacy

Target 4: The Arts

Target 5: Global Impact

Omega Delta Omega Chapter is committed to modeling this vision to ensure service and community engagement of the highest quality while implementing these programs in the communities we serve.

The signature event of our Chapter is the Celebration of Life Breakfast in October where we honor and celebrate the lives of cancer survivors in our community. Annually, we provide need-based scholarships to deserving students in the community to assist with their higher education goals.  Our Chapter is also a proud Platinum supporter of the Educational Advancement Foundation (EAF) of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., which also provides scholarships and supports endowments at HBCU’s. We also partner with the James O. Jessie Desert Highland Unity Center in Palm Springs to address the needs of this underserved community.

Omega Delta Omega’s sisterhood provides service with a smile and continually strives to leave a positive imprint on the hearts of the Inland Empire and Palm Springs communities.

Sincerely and In Service,

Tamela R. Cash-Curry, President
